5 Ways to Stay Hydrated.

thermosIn the last three months, I’ve had three discussions with friends over kidney stones. The most recent was this weekend and resulted in an ambulance ride and lots of pain. I can’t say I have ever experienced this particular ill but doctors compare the pain to childbirth. They say it is worse actually! The kicker is, when I asked in a panic, how do I avoid kidney stones? the answer was drink more water. Yep, that’s the prescription they gave my friend with those kidney stones and that’s what they say will keep me from getting them.

Dewy soft skin, flushing all the icky stuff out of our bodies, and no kidney stones! Water is where it is at. Here is my whole thing though. I drink water all day long. It’s all I drink unless I happen to be having a drink with a friend or get the strange hankering for a root beer. But this is the question I posed in my three way text (one friend waiting for a kidney stone to pass and the other had kidney stones a few years ago): how do I know if I am drinking enough water?
