Dewy soft skin, flushing all the icky stuff out of our bodies, and no kidney stones! Water is where it is at. Here is my whole thing though. I drink water all day long. It’s all I drink unless I happen to be having a drink with a friend or get the strange hankering for a root beer. But this is the question I posed in my three way text (one friend waiting for a kidney stone to pass and the other had kidney stones a few years ago): how do I know if I am drinking enough water?
No, but really. I need to know I am drinking enough water, especially after these horror stories.
I love the Thermos® Connected Hydration Bottle with Smart Lid. You guys, this is the Bentley of water bottles. It connects to your iPhone and/or FitBit to tell you the temperature of the water, how much water is in the water bottle, how much you’ve drank, in how many sips, and at what time. It’s amazing and it’s basically instantaneous. My family and I played a game where I took a drink and it was crazy how quickly it updated.
So here we go with 5 Ways to Stay Hydrated with this Thermos Connected Hydration Bottle with Smart Lid:
1. Set up your Thermos Connected Hydration Bottle with Smart Lid.
It’s so easy to sync it with both your iPhone and your FitBit. I did both but you can also choose one or the other.
2. Fill ‘er up.
One trick I have when it comes to drinking water is to always keep the bottle as full as possible. Whenever I pass by the sink, I pour some more in. There is nothing worse than waking up in the middle of the night parched but with only a few drops left in the bottle.
3. Carry it with you everywhere.
This fits in backpacks and purses (and comes in smoke and in teal). When I am in bed, my thermos is snuggled in with me. When I am sitting at the kitchen table for Thanksgiving, I was the cool person drinking out of the Thermos Connected Hydration Bottle with Smart Lid. I watch TV with it and I read with it. We have the buddy system going on because if it’s there…I’ll drink it.
4. Drink a full glass before you eat a meal.
I make smarter nutritional choices this way but the side benefit is that I am also staying hydrating because if a girl is going to eat, she is going to get eight ounces per serving. You feel me?
5. Make a game of tracking your water.
You know how your FitBit motivates you to keep it moving? Let the Thermos app do the same when it comes to water. I mean, seriously! When I started with the FitBit I moved more and guess what? When I started the Thermos Connected Hydration Bottle with Smart Lid, I am drinking more.
I love this thing so much. Do you find it difficult to stay hydrated? Do you think this baby could help?
